The Periodic Element Guys are Proud to present 15 x 1 Gram Periodic Element Metal Ingots SILVER x 2, Tantalum, Indium, Niobium. Each tile has a color coded label on the back showing the essential information of the particular element.(Atomic Number, Atomic symbol, Atomic Mass, Element number. We have color coded this according to JMOL scheme so each is unique and cheerful. The Periodic Element Guys have produced a whole range of elements in different Mediums protected in airtight acrylic tiles.
The bars have the element metal, purity(.999) and weight on the back and on the back of the tile is a magnet, so they can all be displayed together. Magnets are supplied which come with double sided adhesive tape.
In This Ingot Series we have,
- Tantalum, A very rare metal used in Capacitors among other things.
- Niobium, A rare metal that used to be called Columbium
- Indium, A soft rare Shiny metal.
- Molybdenum.
- Bronze Alloy made up of Copper and Tin.
- Silver is a chemical element with symbol Ag and atomic number 47. A soft, white, lustrous transition metal, it exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and reflectivity of any metal. As well as Jewelry it is used in many applications such as Solar panels,Water filtration and conductors. The price of Silver has decreased around 20% in the last year.
- Silver dipped in 24k Gold This bar is still pure Silver, but dipped in pure 24k Gold.
- Copper is a chemical element with symbol Cu (from Latin: cuprum) and atomic number 29. It is a soft, malleable, and ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. A freshly exposed surface of pure copper has a reddish-orange color. Since the year 2000 the price has increased over 400% as demand keeps increasing.
- Titanium is a chemical element with symbol Ti and atomic number 22. It is a lustrous transition metal with a silver color, low density, and high strength. Titanium is resistant to corrosion in sea water, and chlorine. It is very light and is alloyed with many other metals to Strengthen them. Titanium's price has increased 14% in the last year.
- Zinc is a chemical element with symbol Zn and atomic number 30. It is the first element in group 12 of the periodic table. It is a Bluish white, Lustrous metal. Zinc is used in alloys like Brass. The price of Zinc has decreased by about 15% over the last year.
- Iron is a chemical element with symbol Fe (from Latin: ferrum) and atomic number 26. It is a metal in the first transition series. It is by mass the most common element on earth. it has been used since ancient times and still finds many uses today. The price of Iron has increased about 18% in the last year.
- Brass Ingot.
- Aluminium is a chemical element with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery-white, soft, nonmagnetic and ductile metal in the boron group. It is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. It is strong and very light. It was once considered a precious metal more valuable than Gold. But with technology, it was produced much more easily. The price of Aluminium has decreased by about 4% in the last year. The Aluminium tile comes glued shut as it is to big for a regular tile, If you would prefer to glue it yourself, please let me know.
- Nickel is a chemical element with symbol Ni and atomic number 28. It is a silvery-white lustrous metal with a slight golden tinge. Nickel belongs to the transition metals and is hard and ductile. The American 5 Cent coin is called a Nickle but only contains 25% of the metal. The price of Nickle has increased around 17% in the last year.
- Tin is a chemical element with the symbol Sn (from Latin: stannum) and atomic number 50. It is a post-transition metal in group 14 of the periodic table. Because of its low toxicity and non corrosion properties, it is widely used for everyday products like tin cans. The price of Tin has decreased around 4% in the last year.
The size of these tiles is 22mm x 15mm (0.866" x 0.6")
